I also wish there were more varieties of grape / tanks, maybe a shotgun variant or a machine gun variant. In my opinion 5 is just a better game in every regard other than the fact that hardest is often easier than hard because the weapon limits are completely broken a lot of the time.Īs for the air raider, he is too strong, the airstrikes are kinda ridiculous, but it frustrates me that the only vehicles that are really viable are the Nix’s. We're already getting swarmed by massive numbers of enemies, most of whom used ranged attacks.

I HATE the "slow down upon taking damage mechanic" None of this slow-start, zoomed-in nonsense. When I can summon high-damage bombing runs back to back on inferno, and barely have to move my character at all before wiping out most of the map, we're a taaaad bit on the OP side. deployment cost ratio for some of his equipment is kinda crazy. While I like the QoL changes to the class overall, the damage output vs. It's got the arcade fun nailed down, but this has constantly been a sticking point for me. Also, lets keep it real here, this franchise could probably bring in more players (or retain more) if controls were improved overall. Flying a helicopter solo should not feel like a guessing game with where my bullets/bombs are going to land. I don't need the camera to tumble down with me. I also wish the camera would stay in a fixed position (with the exception of Depth Crawlers - which should be stabilized and locked to your orientation) when I traverse terrain. I'm willing to sacrifice vehicle health, damage, and/or ammo if it means I can get a legitimate reticle for shooting an enemy (not some laser pointer). While I was willing to put up with the vehicle controls back then, after more than a decade I feel vehicle controls should have improved significantly by now.

I've been with the series since 2017, and get the charm behind why relatively poor vehicle controls are synonymous with the franchise. I still want vehicle controls to be better Having a set limit would mean that the devs are more likely to finely tune higher-level difficulties, rewarding players more for good strategy as opposed to how much they were able to face tank damage. I also feel like infinite armor grinding poses inferno (maybe even hardest) difficulty balance issues, as the devs likely have to greatly buff enemy health, speed, and damage output in order to compensate for what armor value we might have. I think Iron Rain got it right on this one, and playing each of the characters showcases how much Defense can play a part in your health pool.

While there's the obvious tedium involved, I feel like being able to infinitely farm armor takes away the importance of damage reduction that's inherent for each of the classes.

I don't like armor farming, and armor should have a maximum limit:
